Course description
This course is a college-level introduction to Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.  Major topics include supply & demand, profit, taxes, economic growth, government fiscal and monetary policy, and international economics. By the end of the course, students will be able to take two AP exams (AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics) for a total of 2 semesters of college credit.

The recommended prerequisites for this class are:
The completion of the following courses with a grade of B or higher: U.S. History and Intermediate Algebra (Algebra II).

Students are expected to attend all classes, take notes, complete all homework assignments and problem sets on time, participate in class discussions, study for quizzes and exams, and prepare rigorously for both AP exams.

  • How often do we submit problem sets? Once per unit
